How We'll Work Together

Specialized virtual therapy that bridges the gap between mental and physical wellbeing for moms in North Carolina.

Postpartum Anxiety & Depression

The transition to motherhood can bring unexpected emotional challenges. Postpartum anxiety and depression don't mean you're broken. They mean your nervous system needs support.

Together, we'll work on understanding your triggers, building regulation skills that actually work in the chaos of motherhood, and addressing the biological factors that contribute to perinatal mood disorders. You don't have to white-knuckle your way through this.

Nutrition for Mental Health

The gut-brain connection is powerful, and for moms running on empty, what you're eating (or not eating) directly impacts your mood, energy, anxiety, and ability to regulate.

As a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist, I integrate targeted nutrition counseling into our therapy work. This isn't about restrictive diets. It's about understanding how specific nutrients support your brain chemistry and giving your body the building blocks it needs to heal.

Anxiety & Overwhelm

The mental load of motherhood is real, and it can feel like your brain never turns off. Racing thoughts at 3am, dread about the day ahead, constant worry about whether you're doing enough.

We'll work together to understand your anxiety patterns, develop practical coping strategies that fit into your actual life (not just theoretical ones), and address the nutritional factors that may be fueling your anxiety.

Women's Issues & Identity

Becoming a mother changes everything, including your sense of self. Many women grieve the person they were before while struggling to find who they are now.

Whether you're navigating identity shifts, relationship changes, the pressure to "do it all," or the unique challenges that come with being a woman in today's world, I provide a safe space to explore, process, and grow.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

It's a relaxed, 15-minute phone call where we get to know each other. I'll ask a little about what brought you here, you can ask me any questions, and we'll both see if we're a good fit. There's no obligation and no pressure. Just a conversation.
I am currently a self-pay practice. I can provide superbills that you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I'm happy to discuss this further during our consultation.
All sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You can attend from anywhere in North Carolina. Your living room, your car during naptime, wherever you feel comfortable. All you need is a private space and an internet connection. Babies are always welcome in session.
Unlike traditional talk therapy alone, I integrate nutrition counseling for mental health into our work together. As a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS), I understand how what you eat directly impacts your mood, anxiety, energy, and ability to regulate your nervous system. This holistic approach means we're addressing the whole picture, not just one piece of it.
I specialize in working with adult women, particularly moms navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the ongoing challenges of motherhood. Whether you're in the thick of early motherhood or years in and still struggling, I'm here for you. I see individual clients only (not couples) via telehealth throughout North Carolina.
Not at all. The nutrition piece is integrated naturally into our therapy work. Some clients are eager to explore the nutrition connection and others are focused more on emotional processing. Both are completely fine. I meet you where you are. There are no meal plans or dietary rules. It's about understanding how nutrition supports your mental health and making small, sustainable shifts when you're ready.
